In June 2024, Workforce proudly hosted its annual Celebration of Success event, marking yet another milestone year for the organisation and its dedicated learners. Held in Conway Mill, the event commemorated the achievements of students who successfully completed their training programmes across Levels 1, 2, and 3. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and pride as families, friends, and stakeholders gathered to honour the hard work and determination of all the graduates.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of 14 prestigious awards, recognising excellence and dedication across various disciplines and levels. Among these was the inaugural McFall Cup, a special accolade given in memory of Angie McFall. This award was presented to a learner who demonstrated Outstanding Commitment, reflecting Angie's own values and dedication.
Key successes for Workforce in 2024 were proudly shared during the event, illustrating the impactful reach of the organisations. An impressive total of 92 young people had secured apprenticeships, launching them into promising careers equipped with the skills and confidence gained through their rigorous training. Additionally, the organisation celebrated the awarding of 243 vocational qualifications and 402 Essential Skills Qualifications, underscoring the comprehensive and effective training provided.
The Celebration of Success event not only served as a platform to recognise the individual achievements of learners but also highlighted the collective accomplishments of Workforce in meeting the educational needs of the community.
